      A BEACH CABANA

This is the problem floor plan of the cabana our customers purchased.  The back was taken up with a TV built-in, a closet, the bathroom and an HVAC closet that wasted so much space the cabana was nearly useless.  You sat with your back to the ocean to watch TV.  There was no room for furniture and no room for sleeping accommodations.

Now, here is the space plan that James Goodman developed:

He opened up the space by tucking the bathroom in the corner.  He built in a banquet for seating and for sleeping (and for storage beneath), and he mirrored behind the banquet to bring the view into the room, no matter where you sit.  Now there's room for furniture, including a sofa bed for additional sleeping.  With the TV cabinet built-in between the sliding glass doors, you can watch TV and still see the ocean.
