Exiting their private elevator lobby, you see a half-round alcove that James Goodman designed to be custom built in fine woods to hold art.

The living room has a formality yet creates a comfortable conversation area. A rare screen and bronze sculptures soften the room's hard contemporary edges. James designed the ceiling with receding steps each painted a darker color so that the ceiling appears to lift beyond it's limited height.
James Goodman opened up the wall between the internal media room and the living room and replaced it with sliding glass doors that share the light and vistas with the inside of the residence.
The client collected rare perfumes, so we adapted the powder room to house her collection on mirrored glass shelves floating free-form in the corners of the vanity.
