Carltun on the Park was a 65,000 square foot gut-rehab of a 1950's public golf course club house, converting it to a private multi-use catering, restaurant and bar facility. Designed and executed on a crash rush basis, we began work the first week of July, 1995, took the building back to concrete and steel, brought back an all new "old" interior, furnished it, and finished the job on schedule for its Grand Opening the first week of December, 1995.
At the Grand Opening gala, Park Commissioner John B. Kiernan complimented our work by declaring the clubhouse "the jewel in the crown of Nassau County".
